A few years ago, one of our kittens got stuck between the wall & the radiator.
In spite of all our efforts & those of our vet: it died. After this we always put a strip of foam, of the type used to lag pipes in lofts, between the radiator & the wall, on the sides or on the bottom, if there is a small gap, depending on the amount of space between the radiator & the wall, to prevent any other inquisitive kitten getting stuck.
